If you didn’t get tickets to next month’s “Fare Thee Well” Grateful Dead concerts at Soldier Field and the  theater simulcast and pay-per-view won’t work, there’s another option.

SiriusXM announced it will broadcast all three of the July 3-5 shows live on its Grateful Dead Radio channel. Preshow coverage will begin at 5 p.m. Chicago time each night, with the concert beginning around 8:15 and coverage continuing until 1 a.m.

To hype the presentations, SiriusXM is awarding a pair of tickets to all three shows plus airfare to Chicago and lodging to a lucky contest winner. But it’s open only to SiriusXM subscribers who signed up May 18 or earlier. Details here.
