A 27-year-old man was shot late Friday in the Marquette Park neighborhood.

About 11:20 p.m., the man was standing outside in the 7300 block of South Artesian when a dark-colored van drove by and someone inside fired shots, striking the man in the leg, police said.

He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
