Two men killed in Austin shooting

Two men were killed in a shooting early Sunday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The men, both 19, were driving in a vehicle in the 1600 block of North Cicero about 3:50 a.m. when a light-colored vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots, police said.

One was shot in his head and the other multiple times across his body, according to police.

Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Their names still were not being released Monday afternoon.
