Police have multiple people in custody in the fatal stabbing of a south suburban man on Sunday evening in Harvey.

Mark Scott, 27, was dropped off about 5 p.m. at Ingalls Memorial Hospital with stab wounds to his upper torso, according to Harvey police.

Scott, of the 2300 block of West 156th Place in Harvey, was pronounced dead half an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Investigators traced the crime scene to a home in the 15800 block of Ashland in Harvey, police said.

Police said more than one person was in custody in the stabbing on Monday afternoon but did not release more details.
