A man and a teenage boy were hurt in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

They were walking in the 8000 block of South Emerald about 11:25 p.m. when shots were fired from a dark van, police said.

The 27-year-old man was shot multiple times in the body and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The 17-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to his leg and was treated at the scene.
