SHARE Police: Two Rogers Park businesses burglarized in May

Police reported recent business burglaries in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.

In the two May incidents, at least one person found their way around security cameras before prying open the back or side door of the businesses, Area North detectives said in an alert.

Stolen items included cash, designer watches, pens, cuff links, a black leather wallet and a computer, the alert said. In one of the burglaries, a floor safe was pried open and cash was stolen.

The burglaries happened on the following dates and locations:

-2100 block of West Devon between 9:45 p.m. and 8 a.m. from May 25 to May 26;

-2600 block of West Devon at 3:40 a.m. May 20;

Two males are suspected in the May 20 incident, in which someone was seen driving a four-door, light-colored sedan. No suspect information was known about the other burglary.
