Man shot in Roseland

A man was injured in a Roseland neighborhood shooting early Saturday on the Far South Side.

About 1 a.m., the 21-year-old was walking in the 11400 block of South Normal when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the leg, police said.

A friend took him to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
