A Niles man has been charged with distributing child pornography.

Martin Youkhanis, 32, was arrested at his home in the 7800 block of North Nordica Avenue in Niles at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, according to a statement from Glenview police.

The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Glenview Police Department and the Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children task force, which turned up more than 800 files of child pornography on Youkanis’ computer, police said.

He was charged with possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography and is being held on a $60,000 bond, according to police. His next court date is scheduled for July 31.
