An Oak Forest woman died Sunday after a traffic crash in the southwest suburb.

Pamela Dettmering, 60, was hurt in a crash at the intersection of 159th Street and Central Avenue in Oak Forest, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Dettmering, of the 15500 block of Ridgeland Avenue in Oak Forest, was taken to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, where she died at 2:28 a.m. Sunday, the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy Monday found she died of multiple injuries from a motor vehicle striking a fixed object, the medical examiner’s office said. Her death was ruled an accident.

Oak Forest police did not immediately provide information about the crash.
