At the buzzer, Angels first baseman Albert Pujols hit his 10th home run to defeat Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant in the first round of the Home Run Derby.

Bryant’s dad was the pitcher and the Cubs third baseman was able to hit nine home runs, but he was never able to get into rhythm.

During Bryant’s at-bat, he had to get his dad’s attention because he wanted to hurry up and hit more home runs during the four minute span.

Both Bryant and Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo didn’t make it out of the first round and will have to watch the rest of the contest as spectators.
