New Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg has spent the greater part of his life in Ames, Iowa, the home of Iowa State University where he both played and coached. He is affectionately known there as “The Mayor” and his Twitter handle (@ISUMayor32) reflects it.

When Big 12 reporter Kristen Keith of CampusInsiders.com caught up with Hoiberg during the NBA’s Summer League in Las Vegas, she asked if he would ever change his moniker. Once “The Mayor” always … (1:59 mark):
