Man shot in Armour Square

A man was shot in the Armour Square neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

About 9:40 p.m., the 33-year-old was getting into a vehicle in the 200 block of West 37th Street when someone walked up and shot him in the leg, police said.

He drove himself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where he was in good condition early Thursday.

Police said the shooting might have been gang-related.
