Man seriously wounded in Humboldt Park shooting

A man was shot and seriously wounded in the Humboldt Park neighborhood not he West Side early Saturday.

About 2 a.m., the 24-year-old was standing outside with a group of people in the 900 block of North Mozart when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He want taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper left part of his chest, police said. He was listed in serious condition.
