A 26-year-old man was shot in the groin Thursday afternoon in a Roseland neighborhood garage on the Far South Side.

He was in the garage about 3 p.m. in the 10100 block of South Wentworth when a gunman walked up and opened fire, police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the groin, and his condition stabilized, police said.
