A teenage boy was shot in the knee Thursday afternoon in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 6100 block of South Langley a few minutes after noon, police said.

The 17-year-old was shot in his left knee and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
