As is usually the case these days, Josh Duggar turned to social media to announce his wife, Anna, gave birth to the couple’s fourth child Sunday. The baby girl, named Meredith Grace, checked in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

In his posting on Twitter and Instagram, Duggar wrote, “Announcingthe arrival of Meredith Grace Duggar. Anna and Meredith are resting & doing well.”

The Duggars already are parents to Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2.

This happy news comes in the wake of the troubling revelations about Josh Duggar’s past. The family’s reality TV show “19 Kids & Counting” was canceled after stories surfaced about Duggar’s molesting of five minor girls, including sisters Jill and Jessa, when he was a teenager.
