A man was shot in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood early Friday.

The 35-year-old told investigators he was walking in the 4900 block of South King Drive at 2:30 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He took himself with a leg wound to Provident Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
