A man was shot during a robbery Sunday evening in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 42-year-old was shot in the abdomen and leg about 5:45 p.m. during a robbery in the 700 block of West 103rd Street, police said.

He was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
