A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Monday in the South Side Kenwood neighborhood.

The 21-year-old man walked into Mercy Hospital about 3 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said.

He told investigators he was shot at 47th and Drexel.

The man was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
