Boy, 15, shot in Chicago Lawn

A 15-year-old boy was shot multiple times early Wednesday in Chicago Lawn on the Southwest Side.

Just after midnight, he was outside in the 6300 block of South Artesian when he “heard shots and felt pain,” police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The boy suffered gunshot wounds to the face and armpit, and was grazed in the shoulder. He taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, Gaines said.
