A man was shot multiple times Wednesday morning in the East Chicago neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 3700 block of East 100th Street just after 6 a.m., police said.

A 32-year-old was shot in the leg and arm, and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.

A police source said the man was not cooperating with investigators; and is a documented gang member.
