Two men were critically wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 2100 block of South Harding about 1:15 p.m., police said.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the head, and a man in his 30s was also shot, though his injuries were not immediately known, police said.

Both men were taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
