BOURBONNAIS – As expected, cornerback Tim Jennings was back at practice Friday at Olivet Nazarene University after handling his legal matters in Georgia. And he hopes everything is behind him.

Jennings said he doesn’t expect any further repercussions after pleading guilty to reckless driving following a DUI arrest in January.

“It shouldn’t at all [carry over into the season],” said Jennings, who was sentenced to 12 months probation and 40 hours of community service. “We got everything resolved, so we kind of want to move forward.”

Jennings said his conversations with coach John Fox and general manager Ryan Pace about his arrest “smoothed over just fine.”

“I made them aware of what was going on,” Jennings said. “It went well. It went fine. We got everything resolved.”

At practice, Jennings was at nickel back in coordinator Vic Fangio’s defense, and that’s where he expects to remain for the duration of camp and into the season.

“With the defense we’ll be running now, it fits well to what I’m trying to do [and] what they’ll want me to do,” Jennings said. “I played [nickel back] a little bit last year, but I’m looking forward to playing more this year.”
