Four men were wounded — one critically — after an argument led to a shooting in the West Side Austin neighborhood early Sunday.

The four were standing on a sidewalk in the 5100 block of West Washington when an argument began and someone fired shots, police said.

A 25-year-old man was shot in the right knee and was in critical condition at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, police said.

Two others, 29 and 31, were also taken to West Suburban, where their conditions had stabilized, police said. The 29-year-old was shot in the right shoulder while the 31-year-old was shot in the left foot.

A 24-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital with a leg wound. His condition had stabilized, police said.

All four are documented gang members, police said.
