A man was shot while lighting fireworks early Sunday in the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side.

The 34-year-old was lighting fireworks in the street in the 4200 block of West 24th Place at 12:37 a.m. when he felt pain and realized he’d been shot, police said.

He was struck in his left forearm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
