A 15-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were shot in the Pilsen neighborhood early Monday.

The shooting happened at 5:40 a.m. in the 900 block of West Cullerton, police said.

The 21-year-old was sitting in a vehicle waiting for the teen to join him, police said. As he walked up, someone in a passing vehicle opened fired, striking the teen in the abdomen and the older man in the knee, police said.

A female acquaintance drove both to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were in good condition, police said.
