Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot Monday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 25-year-old was shot in the left foot about 5:20 p.m. in the 200 block of West 63rd Street, police said.

He later walked into Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member who was not being very cooperative with investigators.
