Man shot in Austin

A man was shot Monday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 25-year-old got into an argument with another male about 9:55 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Van Buren when the other male pulled out a gun and opened fire, police said.

The 25-year-old was shot in the back of the shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
