In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong of Vietnam; the Vice President will also attend. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the meeting in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of Defense Carter in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the President will meet with the Senate Democratic Caucus in the State Dining Room. The meeting is closed press.
