No major accidents or delays were being reported on area expressways as cloudy but generally clear weather conditions prevailed Wednesday morning.

The Taste of Chicago begins Wednesday in Grant Park, and multiple downtown road closure and transit reroutes are in effect.

No reported delays at the airports or on Metra or the CTA, although additional service is being added for the Taste.

There are a number of closures, daily and long term, through the Illinois Tollway system. Check the state’s map for the latest on impacted areas:
