Before game two of the doubleheader between the Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, Thomas Ian Nicholas or better known as Henry Rowengartner from the 1993 classic “Rookie of the Year,” threw out the first pitch.

From USA Today:

In the film, Nicholas played 12-year-old Rowengartner, a boy who ends up playing for the Cubs after healing miraculously from an arm injury.

The Cubs didn’t need the extra arm in the bullpen as Chicago swept the doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Before the Cubs won 5-3, Nicholas sang the 7th inning stretch, but the former child actor didn’t have the singing pipes like he used to.
