An 18-year-old man was shot in the finger in Austin Saturday afternoon on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 3 p.m. in the 400 block of North Lawler, according to preliminary information from police.

He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in good condition.
