A 48-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen Saturday night in Uptown on the North Side.
She showed up at Weiss Memorial Hospital about 9:30 p.m. and told investigators she’d been shot in the 5000 block of North Kenmore, according to preliminary information from police.
She was transferred to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where her condition stabilized, police said.
