A man was stabbed while standing outside in the Logan Square neighborhood early Saturday.

About 2:37 a.m., the 20-year-old was outside in the 2300 block of North Milwaukee with a group of people when another male walked up and stabbed him several times, police said.

An officer at the scene said the man was stabbed four times in total.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized Saturday morning, police said.
