Authorities are searching for a man who is suspected of robbing the same bankin Waukegantwice inoneweek.
The most recent robbery at the Fifth Third Bank branch at 800 S. Waukegan Road happened at1:22 p.m. Monday, according to the FBI and Waukegan police. Additional details were not immediately available about that robbery.
The same man is suspected of robbing the same bank last Monday, Aug. 3 at 2:55 p.m., according to the FBI.
During that robbery, the suspect did not display a weapon and got away with an undetermined amount of cash, authorities said.
He is described as a black man in his 40s, between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-5, and about 140 pounds, authorities said. During the first robbery, he was wearing a black shirt and baseball cap.
