An 80-year-old north suburban man who went missing Sunday on his way to Gurnee was found Monday in Hinsdale.

Randall Hutchinson, who suffers from dementia, was reported missing at 8:13 p.m. Sunday by his family, according to a statement from Waukegan police.

He was on his way to the Battery Giant at 5338 Grand Ave. in Gurnee, police said. The Illinois Tollway confirmed he exited I-294 at the Willow Road Toll Plaza.

He was found in Hinsdale by local police, and his family was going to pick him up, Waukegan police said just before 8 p.m. Monday.
