Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an 80-year-old man with dementia missing from the South Chicago neighborhood since Sunday.

George Robbins was last seen Sunday near 83rd Street and Yates Boulevard, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Robbins has dementia.

He is described as a 5-feet-9, 165-pound black man with brown eyes, grey short hair, a thin grey mustache and a medium complexion, police said. Robbins was believed to be wearing green pants, a black t-shirt, a brown jacket with a logo on the rear and “deacon” on the front and sleeves, with black Nike gym shoes.

Anyone with information on Robbins’ whereabouts is asked to contact police at (312) 747-8274.
