Police are warning businesses on the West Side of three recent store burglaries within a block of one another throughout the last month on the West Side.

In each incident, at least one person forces their way into a small retail store via the front or rear door and steals property from within, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries happened:

  • About 11:10 p.m. July 5 in the 5100 block of West Division;
  • About 2:42 p.m. Aug. 1 in the 5000 block of West Division;
  • At an unknown time between Aug. 5 and Aug. 8 in the 5100 block of West Division.

A description of the burglars was not available.
