Man shot in Austin

Six people were shot, one fatally, Feb. 19, 2020 in Chicago.

A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Monday night.

About 9:15 p.m., the 23-year-old was shot in the back int he 5100 block of West Washington, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man was snot cooperating with investigators.
