A 21-year-old man was shot and seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in West Englewood on the South Side.
About 4:40 p.m., he was on the street in the 6500 block of South Wolcott when two people walked up to him and one of them shot him in the abdomen, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, Zala said.
