A man was shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side early Friday.

About 2:34 a.m., the 26-year-old was shot in the head in the 3800 block of West Roosevelt, police said.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
