A man was shot Thursday morning while riding a bike in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 20-year-old was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk in the 10900 block of South Ewing at 11:22 a.m. when two males approached, police said.One of them pulled a handgun and opened fire.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the lower left leg and a graze wound to his neck, police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.

Detectives think the shooting might be gang-related. A police source said the victim is a documented gang member
