A man was shot and seriously wounded Thursday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 18-year-old man walked into Rush University Medical Center about 12:30 p.m. with gunshot wounds to his neck and side, police said.

He told investigators he was shot in the 3400 block of West Flournoy. He is listed in serious condition, police said.
