An 80-year-old woman went missing from the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Thursday evening.

Marie “Ella” Gordon was last seen about 5 p.m. near the intersection of 64th and Aberdeen, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Gordon, who suffers from dementia, was described as a black woman, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing 140 pounds. She has a medium complexion, brown eyes and a wig that has white, brown and reddish colors, police said.

She was last seen wearing a green shirt, purple pants and black shoes, police said. She wears glasses and was carrying a black purse and orange Nike bag. She should have a bus card and state ID on her person.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Area South detectives at (312) 747-8274.
