A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Sunday in Englewood on the South Side.

The 20-year-old man was in the 5900 block of South Union about 1:15 a.m. when someone fired shots from a vehicle, police said.

He was shot in the back and abdomen and taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
