A 21-year-old man was shot late Saturday afternoon in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

He was walking home about 5:45 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Wabash when a gunman walked up and shot him in the upper right thigh, according to Chicago Police. The shooter ran south on Wabash.

The 21-year-old was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.
