Man shot dead in West Englewood

A 21-year-old man was shot to death Sunday afternoon in the South Side West Englewood neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 1:08 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Paulina, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died at 1:52 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name was withheld pending family notification.
