Rihanna furious with Matt Barnes for floating false romance story

A solid Rihanna source told me Sunday night the singer is “incredibly angry” at the Memphis Grizzlies’ Matt Barnes for floating a rumor he and the music mega-star are dating. “What really has her crazy mad is her worry Lewis Hamilton [the Formula One racecar driver she’s in the early stages of really dating] will think the Matt rumors are true and lose interest in Rihanna for double-timing him.

“And on top of it — it’s total bull—-!”

The singer wasted no time to deflate the tales by turning to Instagram to blast Barnes with such hashtags as #thedevilisaliar, #shesneverevenmetyou and #defamationofcharacter. It all started when Barnes told TMZ Sunday he and Rihanna were already past “the crush stage” and said, “We’ll see where it goes.”

In reality, Rihanna and Hamilton spent some time together in her home island of Barbados and have recently been seen partying together around New York.
