SHARE Swimmer reported missing in Lake Michigan found at home

A swimmer who wasreported missing in Lake Michigan at Ohio Street Beach Sunday night was found safe at home.

The 24-year-old man was last seen swimming in the lake at the beach in the 600 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 11:10 p.m., police said. The search went on through the night and into Monday morning.

At 10:42 a.m.Monday,the Chicago Fire Department said theman was located safe at home and “never told his friends he was out of the water.”

Police and firecrewsassisted in the search.
