A 17-year-old girl was shot in the South Chicago neighborhood Tuesday evening.

About 6:36 p.m., the teen girl was shot in the foot in the 8500 block of South Kingston, police said.

Ahe was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, but her condition was not known, police said.
